We are holding an event for front line staff and managers of the Dundee Employability Service activities across the city from the Public, Third, Social Enterprise and Education sectors that collectively make up the city-wide programme of support for our jobless citizens.
We would like to invite you and your teams who work with workless clients, to hear about and discuss new way of working collectively under the Scottish Government’s agenda of “No-one is Left Behind” and the integration of employability with other public services. There will also be opportunities for networking, meeting new faces and sharing experience and information about the work everyone is doing.
Can we ask you to hold the date…Thursday 31st May. The event will be held at the Steeple and we will send more information, an agenda and times (we will book an a.m. session in the first instance however if this becomes full we are happy to also run a second session that day) out soon. Meantime, we would like as many people supporting clients into work to have the opportunity to attend as possible, therefore could you please share this with your teams.
Anyone who would like to attend should email us at linda.duirs@nhsnet to have their name included on the invitation list, including details of any access requirements or dietary needs. In order to make arrangements for seating, refreshments, etc, please confirm the names and email addresses of all attendees by Friday 27th April.
