Dundee Voluntary Action is a leading, trusted and flourishing organisation, working to make a difference to lives of people and communities in the city. Our expanding Mental Health Engagement and Involvement Team has the following vacancies for highly motivated and talented individuals who are passionate about involving people in shaping the issues that impact their lives. The team works to ensure that people with lived experience of mental health challenges and third sector organisations working with them are actively involved in making Dundee a City of Recovery.

Mental Health Networking Co-ordinator  

Grade 4 £25,470 – £28,300

Pro Rata P/T 20 hours per week

This is a permanent post

You will facilitate and support third sector involvement in the planning, development, delivery, and evaluation of mental health and wellbeing supports for people living in Dundee. You will co-ordinate third sector contributions and voices and represent third sector interests for strategic planning and commissioning purposes. In partnership with others, you will use co-production techniques and processes to maximise resources available to communities to deliver best possible mental health and wellbeing outcomes.

Employees are auto enrolled in the company pension scheme.

Project Worker (Mental Wealth Academy)

Pro Rata P/T 14 Hours per week

This post is funded for 1 year initially.

You will work alongside people with lived experience of mental health recovery and local organisations to develop a peer led Mental Wealth Academy for Dundee. The Academy will develop and share learning about experiences of mental health, wellbeing, and recovery by delivering peer led training, research, practical skills, signposting, and accreditation pathways.
