Voluntary Sector Vacancies: Al-Mushkah- Together Project Administrator (Sessional)
Together Project Administrator (Sessional), Dundee
3 hours per week for 12 months starting July 2018.
Salary: £9 per hour
Al-Mushkah is a social enterprise of multi-disciplinary expertise that aims to empower ethnic minorities. Our mission is to enhance community cohesion and social inclusion by enabling services to reach all isolated groups of ethnic minorities.
If you have excellent organisation skills and would like to support integration and inclusion of young refugees in Dundee, we would like to hear from you. The role will provide admin support to our Together Project and ensure the office systems are running efficiently. The post holder will respond to queries, undertake filing and recording, carry out IT functions (emails, word processing, internet and social media), maintain finance records, manage office stationery, support organising events and activities, provide admin support to Together Project Officer and other team members, and undertake other duties in line with the role. The role is funded by National Lottery Awards for All, Scotland and Community Innovation Fund – NHS Tayside.
The successful candidate must have the following skills, abilities and experience: • Good verbal and written communication skills in English. • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a wide range of tasks with competing priorities and deadlines. • IT skills in particular Microsoft Word, Excel, emails and Internet systems including social media. • Strong customer service skills and experience. • Ability to demonstrate an active commitment towards equal opportunities and anti-discriminatory practice. • Ability to deal with information in a confidential manner. •
Experience of developing and maintaining office systems.
