Effective approaches to co-production with vulnerable people and groups events

The Protecting People Chief Officers Group, (COG), would like to invite you to join them at one of two events that will focus on the topic of: ‘Effective approaches to co-production with vulnerable people and groups’.

Co-production can be a way for service producers to recognise and support the individuals and families who use services. This can be achieved by acknowledging the importance of their input, valuing the power of existing support networks and creating better ways for people to shape the services that support them. It can be an empowering process, promoting more effective approaches to service provision.

If you would like to learn more about co-production and what potential it has for public services, join us for one of these sessions where local organisations will share their experiences of co-production; examples of what works well; and how it can be applied to other areas.

The two events will follow the same format and will take place on:

  • Tuesday, 4th September, at 1.30pm-3.30pm at the main Hall, Dudhope Castle, Barrack Road, Dundee, DD3 6HF

  • Monday, 17th September, at 10am-12pm at Committee Room 1, 14 City Square, Dundee, DD1 3BT

There will be representation from the Chief Officers’ group at both events, and participants will have the opportunity to have meaningful discussion at a relaxed atmosphere. So, don’t miss this opportunity to learn about the benefits of co-production and how it can improve the lives of those around you.

To RSVP or enquire about the events, please contact Greta Liaudanskaite at call 01382 433518.

Kind regards,

The Protecting People Team
